Thoughtful, knowledgeable, sincere…
When my then fiancée (now wife) and I decided to take the plunge, we had a million questions in our head. She’s from France, me from the good ‘ol U.S. of A. How does it work? What if it doesn’t work? What’s the best way to go about it? It was a super anxious time to say the least. That’s when we decided to seek out counsel, which lead us to Angela. From the first initial meeting, the anxiety started to go away. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, sincere, confident…these are terms I usually don’t associate with lawyers, but this is what Angela exuded. We engaged her expertise, and she had it covered every step of the way. There was never a point where we wondered if anything was falling through the cracks. That being said, the ultimate test was when she sat with us when it came time to meet the immigration officer for my wife’s green card approval. We were feeling confident, but you never know. We sat down, the officer started going through the carefully prepared documentation that Angela and her team put together. The officer would ask, “Where is this document, where is that document?” to which Angela would reply without hesitation, “Officer, this document is here, that document is there.” Then we REALLY knew we were in good hands when the officer said, “You know, you have a good lawyer here.” And I’m sure he had seen his fair share. Long story short, my wife’s green card was approved, and it was all thanks to Angela’s help. We couldn’t have done it without her.
